Mrs. Jennie A. Patterson, aged 65, wife of Ross Patterson, of Brock, died at her home Sunday, May 9, 1943, after a year's illness of complications.

She was born February 14, 1878, in Perry Township, Greene County, the daughter of the late William and Elmina Ammons Jones, and married Ross Patterson in October 11, 1894. She spent all her life in Perry Township. Surviving besides her husband are the following children: Mrs. George Cole, of Brock; Mrs. Bertha Haines, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1; William Ira Patterson, of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Albert Pierce, of Bobtown; Mrs. Baily Minor, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1; Charles Albert Patterson and Francis Guy Patterson, of Washington, D. C. Two brothers, Henry Jones of Morgantown, W. Va., and Ira Jones, of Moorseville, W. Va., also survive as do sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One other brother, Bert Jones, is deceased. She was a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Church.
