Funeral services for Miss Sarah Hyatt Bard (1880-1963), 82, who died yesterday afternoon in a local nursing home, after a long illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with Rev. George Shirley officiating. Burial will be in the Welaka Cemetery.
Miss Bard had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County and was a truant officer for public schools for a number of years. She was in the real estate business in Palatka for several years. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, in Interlachen.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. M. B. Willmott, Palatka; and several nieces and nephews.
