Carlo Patti's remains are to be removed from Paris, France to be interred in family mausoleum in St. Louis, MO.

He led the Grand Opera House orchestra, was in Columbia, Tennessee when the Civil War broke out, and joined the Maury Rifles, commanded by Capt. John G. Anderson and remained with the company until after Shiloh when he was detailed by Beauregard as a member of the Signal Corps (Columbia Herald, 3 Apr 1874)

Note: He was the brother of the diva Adeline Patti.
