Funeral services for Hazel M. Stratton, 77, Versailles, were held Monday at the Bovard Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Richard Burcham of the Versailles Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Tanglewood Cemetery.

She died Friday at King's Daughters Hospital in Madison.

She was born in New Marion, Sept. 13, 1903, the daughter of George D. and Grace Shaw Robertson and married Rolla Stratton who died in 1968.

Mrs. Stratton was a member of the Versailles Baptist Church; a 50-year member of the Versailles Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Senior Citizens of Versailles. OES services were held Sunday evening.

Survivors are three sons, George W. Stratton of Tucson, Arizona; Franklin Stratton of Ft. Wayne and Marvin Stratton of Petersburg; one daughter, Mrs. Dean (Rita) Lang of Indianapolis; four brothers, Cecil Robertson of New Marion, Elvin of Middletown, Wisc.,Gayle of Hanover and Earl Robertson of Crystal Lake, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Sam (Emma) Raney of Versailles, and Mrs. Valeda Laswell of Ft. Myers, Florida; eight grandchildren and one great grandchilld. Four brothers and one sister are deceased.
