Daughter of Sam & Pearl Reynolds, sister of Ray Reynolds, Fay (Reynolds) Tucker & Marcelle (Reynolds) Vick. Married to William Welch. Mildred was a graduate of Henderson State Univ. with a BSE & MSE degree. She taught in the Red Springs Community & the Gurdon Public School for 36 years. Most of her teaching was in science at the junior high level. Mildred was a member of Red Springs Baptist Church, Kappa Kappa Iota Society, past member of Kadohadacho club & a lifetime member of ATRA. She was a Democrat committee woman for many years. Mildred was a Christian & lived her life as a Christian. She loved people & tried to help anyone who was in need. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Ray & sister Fay. Survived by her sister Marcelle, 5 nephews, Ray Tucker, Ronnie Gulledge, Randy Gulledge, Sam Reynolds, Dennis Reynolds, & 4 nieces, Nancy Sunderland, Penny Alred, Pam Davis, Rita Stricklin. Mildred was also a cousin of the late James (aka J.L.) Walters of Blytheville, AR.
