mr. fish was about 21 yrs. of age and was born and raised at euchre creek, where he has many friends who are grived at his untimely death.besides his mother he is survived by one brother, fred fish, also of euchre creek.
the remains are being brought home for interment, and will be buried beside his father, eugene fish,in the euchre creek cemetery.
mr.fish is the first young man from curry county to give his life in the war.while he did not fall on the firing line, yet his life was given for the great cause for which this country if fighting just as much as though he had died in "no man's" land.this thought should be a consolation to those he has left behind.
