She was born on September 7, 1948 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Robert N. and Elaine K. (Schmieder) Jensen. Carol was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, class of 1966 and Holy Family School of Nursing in 1969. She married Robert J. Langer in Sheboygan. She began her nursing career as a candy striper at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Langer of Two Rivers, two daughters and sons-in-law, a son; a brother, Robert Jensen of Kimberly; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Ronald Mosnik of Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Bonnie A. Jensen and Bonnie M. Jensen.
Funeral services were held January 29, 2010.
Carol was a devoted wife and mother. She greatly valued the time she spent with Madelyn, her first grandchild, and fought hard to meet Ethan and Amanda. She and Bob enjoyed walking and biking at Point Beach and going camping with their family.
