OBITUARY Iron River Reporter Nov 18 1992 "Obituaries: Audrey Angeli"
IRON RIVER-Audrey M. Angeli, 59, of 117 7th Ave., died Nov. 12 at Iron County General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 6, 1933 in Iron River, the daughter of the late George and Margaret Tromblay and was a life long resident. She attended the Iron River schools and graduated from Iron River High School in 1951. She then attended the Greigg Business College in Chicago, Ill. She returned to Iron River and married Alfred (Bay) Angeli, Jr. on June 20, 1953 at St. Agnes Catholic Church. She was secretary for the Angeli Food Company for many years and in 1974 she was selected as the Community Minded Woman of the Year. She retired in 1987. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, St. Agnes Altar Society, the 20th Century Women's Club where she had served as president, a Charter member of the former Stambaugh Hospital Auxiliary, member of the Carrie Jacobs Bond Musicale Society and a member of the Youth Center Board.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Burt of East Kingsford, Chris of Pulaski, Wis., Rex of Iron River and Jamie of Sault Ste. Marie; one daughter Penny Angeli of Sunnyvale, Calif.; one sister Marilyn Lueken of Somanauk, Ill.; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private visitation was held Nov. 15 at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
Funeral services were held Nov. 16 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. Aloysius Hasenberg, pastor, and the Rev. Otto Sartorelli concelebrating the Mass of Christian Burial.
Pallbearers were Gene Wodzinski, Jay Barry, Rick Angeli, Sam Angeli, Ted Lueken and Tim Lueken.
Organist Luella Ambach accompanied the St. Agnes Choir under the direction of Cheryl Spencer on musical selections "Panis Angelicus" and "Amazing Grace." Soloist Ken O'Donnell sang "Ave Maria" and "Wind Beneath My Wings." Soloist Richard Briggs sang "The Lord's Prayer."
Audrey would be pleased if, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Audrey Angeli Memorial at Iron County General Hospital or the Iron County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Burial was in Resthaven Cemetery.

NEWS ARTICLE Hanna Miner Aug 1953 "Iron River Office"
On June 20, Miss Audrey Tromblay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Tromblay, and Alfred Angeli, Jr., son of Mrs. Alfred Angeli, were married in a double ring ceremony at St. Agnes church of Iron River. They will reside in Iron River where Angeli is associated with his mother in the management of the Angeli Iron Lake farm. The bride's father is the district purchasing agent.

Audrey Tromblay, daughter of George Tromblay, purchasing agent, was graduated with honors from Iron River high school. Audrey was a member of the National Honor society and one of the four students who gave talks on Commencement night. She was a member of the Thespians for four years, and was president in her third and fourth year, played in the band, was a member of the Future Home Makers of America, the Annual staff and the student council.
