William Wesley Bonnie married Drusilla Grim Shindel on 26 December 1935 in York County. William was the son of Herbert and Mary Batt Bonnie.

William attended Susquehanna College, class of 1927, the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine, class of 1934. He was the Chief of Otolaryngology and Assistant Anesthesiologist at the Grandview Hospital, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania.
