His early life and schooling were in Fifield. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater. On June 30, 1947, he married Dorothy Hilgart in Park Falls. He was an auto body technician for Square Deal Body Shop, Fifield; Vincent & Vincent Ford Dealer, Park Falls; and Kamm Motors, Park Falls, until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, Park Falls; two sisters, Alice and Josephine; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Mayne.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from First Congregational United Church of Christ, Park Falls, with Rev. Henry Boynton officiating.
