Naomi Ruth (Jones) Trietsch, 83, Anderson, died November 15, 1998 at a local nursing home, following a short illness.
She was born May 12, 1915 in Cumberland County, Illinois, daughter of John Preston and Flora Belle (Shipp) Jones. She had lived in the Anderson area most of her life before moving to Florida in 1970 and returning to Anderson in September, 1997.
She retired in 1969 from the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors where she had worked for 32 years. She was a member of United Auto Workers Local 663.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Janice Trietsch, Anderson; four granddaughters, Karen Ferrell and Penny Jackson, both of New Castle, Sandy Trietsch, Anderson, and Carolyn Rigdon, San Antonio, Texas; six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Trietsch in 1988; a son, Jack E. Trietsch in 1994; and a grandson, Jack E. Trietsch Jr.
Services will be Wednesday at the Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel with Rev. Orland Gibbons officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
