Son of Joseph LaGasa grew up in Michigan and moved to Washington with his father. Oversaw the building of Smith Tower, the downtown Seattle power plant, Centralia Station as well as many other buildings in Seattle. He was the President of the New York Labor and Trades Union in 1910 and was the first out of 90 men selected to supervise the building of the LA County General Hospital. He retired from the City of LA.
