Brother of Mrs. Luvina Seidner, George Buckley and Mrs. Hazel James, all of Loleta. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives.
A member of the Wiyot Indian tribe, Mr. Sherman was a native of Loleta and had lived all his life in Humboldt county.
