Hilton "Buck" Young, 66, of Strattanville RD, Clarion Township, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, in Golden Living Center at Shippenville. He had been ill a short time.

Born May 28, 1941, in Limestone Township, he was the son of Robert William and Carrie Marie Bish Young.

Mr. Young was a 1959 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High school.

He was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Army as a signal corpsman during the Vietnam era from December 1965 through December 1969.

He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Mr. Young retired from the Glen-Geary Brick Plant in Summerville following more than 20 years of employment.He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and watching sports.

He never married.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Daly of Summerville and Mrs. Richard (Frances) Hollobaugh of New Bethehem;a sister-in-law, Prudy Young of Corsica; three brothers, Russell Young and his wife Vergie, of Franklin, Emery and Harry Young, both of Strattanville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and William Young, and a brother-in-law, Joseph Daly.

Funeral services were held Aug. 31 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion with the Rev. James Dietrich officiating.
