Gadsden Times Mar 4, 1985: Mr. Dooley
Grover William Dooley, 63, 510 Lonesome Bend Road, Glencoe, died Sunday at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital after a sudden illness. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Sandra Bryant, Douglas, GA, Ms. Celia Bryant and Mrs. Judy McCoy, Glencoe. Crestwood Funeral Home directing.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Crestwood Chapel with the Rev. Fred Donovan officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Other survivors: sisters, Mrs. Bessie Crocker, Mrs. Audrey Butler, East Gadsden, Mrs. Hazel Carr, Jacksonville, Mrs. Evie Hood, Gadsden; brother James Dooley, East Gadsden; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Hoyt Lee, Scott McCoy, Larry, Bobby and Don Bryant, Toney Harcrow. Honorary pallbearers: all personal friends. Mr. Dooley was a native of Etowah County and lived here all his life. He was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 23 years service. He was a member of the Baptist church and was a veteran of WWII. The body will remain at the funeral home through the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight.
