ABDOU, ANTHONY RICHARD; of Dallas, TX, formerly of Waterford; age 40; born October 2, 1969 in Detroit, MI.

Son of Julia and the late Frederick George Abdou; husband of Lauren (Meeks); brother of Frederick Joseph Abdou (Michelle) and Danielle Abdou Harbour (Mark); also survived by several aunts, uncles, one niece, two nephews, many cousins and friends.

Anthony enjoyed spending time with family, coaching and playing hockey, fishing, lake living and exercising. Anthony had a one-of-a-kind zest for life and people and loved to help others. He will always be remembered for his great smile and laugh.

A Celebration of Anthony's life will be held Monday, January 18, 2010, 11 a.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford. Interment Pine Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions in Anthony's name may be made to OCSD Benefit for the Disabled, Playground Fund (Dodge Park), 3030 Dixie Hwy., Waterford, MI 48328, Attn. Doris Clarkson. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
