Paul J. Berndt, 79, of Gravette passed away January 31, 2010 in Bella Vista. He was born April 25, 1930 in Monument, Kansas, the son of William & E. Ella (Hanson) Berndt. He was a farmer and also a Braille worker. He was a member of Bella Vista Lutheran Church. Mr. Berndt was preceded in death by his wife, Nona (Capehart) Berndt and a daughter, Glenda Berndt.
He is survived by his Sons, Edward Berndt of Gravette, AR and Daniel Berndt of Rocky Comfort, MO; his daughter Betty Lingenfelter of Joplin, MO and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Bella Vista Lutheran Church prior to services at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hiawasee, AR
Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home.
