Funeral service will be conducted for Mrs. Ada Bennett Tanner of Fort Worth, Thursday afternoon, Jan. 18, at 2:00 in the Tanner Funeral here with Rev. V. E. Hawkins of Dallas officiating.
Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Mrs. Tanner died Wednesday morning in a Wichita Falls hospital after a long illness. Born in Wise county, she was married to the late Luke Tanner. Mr. and Mrs. Tanner resided in Iowa Park a number of years around the 1920’s.
Surviving are a son Rev. L. C. Tanner of Lima, Peru; four sisters: Miss Edith Bennett, Miss Effie Mae Bennett, Miss Alice Bennett, Mrs. W. M. Crawford, all of Fort Worth: two brothers: Claude Bennett of Fort Worth and Sam Bennett of Walnut Springs; and two grandsons.
