"MY MOM"

My Mom, so tiny, so small, had to grow up so fast to shoulder.
It all. Her Father abandoned her family..and she took care of her siblings so bravely.

While her Mom worked, she didn't get a lot of free time to be
A child and play..She had to tote her baby sister for her Mother to nurse many a day.

Sometimes life was hard, since she didn't have her Father,
She was sad and afraid, even in the war when she lost her
Brother. She worked out in the fields and helped her Grandpa,
And did much work on the farms, planting lots of seeds with
Her little arms.

My Mom..so tiny..so small..one day she fell in love, while.
Going to milk the cows in her bib OVERALL. She heard a
Beep! Beep! From our Dads old Model Ford..and he was a-smiling, a-winking and flirting with the girl he adored.

I remember her telling me once she had a ribbon on her dress
That my Dad used to fix that old car to make it run.
Mom..was so dear, so much fun. Her first little baby that was born, died and she had three more...Prayer was a part of her
Life and faith her inner core.

My Mom...she didn't go all the way through school, because
Of her burdens and she was not free. She was smart in many ways and it didn't take a college degree.. To be a Mom.
And take care of her family.

My Mom..she cooked the best okra, biscuits, chicken, vegetable soup, and chocolate cake. It seemed everything.
She cooked cured our belly ache.

She could play the guitar, and organ, sing and play a song.
She was protective of us if someone did us wrong. She made us snacks..when we came home from school. She.
Could mend and sew and iron. She helped us to read, write and learn.

She sacrificed for us and did her washing in the kitchen sink,
Hung clothes out to dry in the sunny air, and gave away many crocheted pillows and coverlets she made with a flair.

My Mom..so spunky and sassy..sometimes she was so brave.
And classy. She worked so hard and never asked for a.
Whole lot..but she needed love and sometimes it seemed it
Was only a little she got.

She BABYSIT, cut out dolls and played games with us,
She changed many diapers and could arrang pretty floral
Pots. She cared for so many and she never asked for much,
She babysit and cared for the babies she rocked and gave
Back the money's she got.

She liked making up poems and to draw..gardening, reading,
And she was a comforting shoulder unto us all.
She seemed to know just what to do..when we were sick,
And comforted us through many a Boo-boo.

My Mom...so precious, she made our baby clothes with.
Pretty embroidery, made cupcakes and cookies for my
Classmates at school and it made everyone hungry.
She stood by our Father when he was so sick and suffered two strokes..her devotion to him was strong and to all her.
Folks.

She didn't get to go to church very much, but she loved
Jesus and singing His songs, Always tried to teach us.
Right from wrongs.

My Mom..I don't know how she did it all..but God was her
Refuge and Comfort through any problem big or small.
My Mom..so frail, I always worried about her and during the.
Autumn season..she had a bad fall. She became so weak
And her breathing began to fail.

Dear Momma, we will miss you, your special love and care.
We think Daddy's looking forward to seeing you and you'll
Get to help him take care of the golden mansions he'll be building for the Lord up there!

Momma and Daddy..we love you we hope to see you again, together forever, with Jesus in Heavens glorious Land!

With Love, Always, your daughter, donna
