Billy Joe Billings, age 58, of Sparta, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at the Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta.
He was the son of the late William Rex and Lillie Brinegar Billings, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Kern and Bobby Rex Billings.
He is survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna Marie Crouse of Sparta, Lorraine B. Wooten of the home, Rachel and Cecil Evans of Elkin; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Roger Lee Billings of Galax, VA, David Wayne and Margaret Billings of Glade Valley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, February 3rd, at the Grandview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Landmark Cemetery at Whitehead.
