Members of the family of J.E. Latimer have informed the Gazette of the death of his mother, Mrs. S.J. Latimer, which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.M. Gibbs in Dublin on 6 July 1929. The remains were taken to Hico for burial beside her husband, G.W. Latimer, who died several years ago. She was one of the pioneer citizens of Jack County rearing 10 sons and daughters, all of whom are still living.
