BUTLER, LEVETA — Calistoga resident Leveta Butler, 90, died April 26, 2003, in Deer Park. She was born Jan. 4, 1913, in Oakland to Louis and Valeria (Fuller) Armstrong.
She owned and operated the Jack & Jill Nursery for 25 years.
Leveta is survived by her daughters, Sharon Sarzotti of Belmont and Lynne Smith of Arvada, Colo.; and son, Larry Butler of San Pedro. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Butler.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Chapel, 990 Vintage Ave., St. Helena. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Helena Cemetery, 2461 Spring St., St. Helena, followed by memorial services at 1 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church of Calistoga, 1407 Third St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Presbyterian Church of Calistoga, 1407 Third St., Calistoga, CA 94515.
