Ashford Royce Elliott, 61, of Alexandria died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 1970, en route to an Alexandria clinic.

The deceased was a native of Dodson and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Elliott well known residents of that community.

He was a manager of Rainbow Flower Shop and was a member of Oliver Lodge No. 84, F. & A. M., El Karubah Shrine Temple, the Cenla Shrine Club, and Horseshoe Drive Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Frasier Elliott of Alexandria, and four sisters, Mrs. Geneva Webb of Alexandria, Mrs. Eva Larsen of Norfleet, Ark., Mrs. Oma Edwards of Ruston, and Mrs. Zella Doucet of Washington.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Alexandria. Graveside services wee held at 3 p.m. Friday in Culbertson Cemetery in Dubach.
