Missouri Pacific railroad Locomotive Engineer:Obit reads: James Cain of Centertown, veteran Missouri Pacific Engineer who has three daughters residing here died yesterday morning after a long liness. the funeral will be held this afternoon from the Baptist church at Centertown. Cain was father of Mrs Bass Loethen, Mrs Denny Kleselbach and Mrs J L Swearingen of this city and Mrs Wm Defoe of Higginsville Missouri. Until he became ill several months ago Cain ran a switch engine in the yards at Jefferson City. Before that he was for several years engineer off a helper engine at Centertown.Death certificate shows birth 1853
