Be it remembered that on the 30th day of July, 1884, the will of Anna Maria Coressel, dec, was filed for probate, in the Probate Court of Defiance County, Ohio, which will is as follows, viz:

In the name of the Benevolent Father of all,
I, Anna Maria Coressel, of Adam Township, Defiance County, Ohio, do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1. --- I give and devise to my son Henry Coressel and his heirs forever, the following real estate, to wit: The south half of the north-west quarter of Section (21 twenty-one, also the north-west quarter of the north-west quarter of Section twenty one 21) all of said land being and lying in township five (5) west of range (5) five east, in Defiance County, Ohio, containing one hundred and twenty acres of land more or less, with and under the following conditions – The said Henry Coressel is to furnish the said George R. Coressel the use of the large room on the south end in the large house in the Second Story, also the bedroom in the lower floor in the east end of the house near the kitchen during his natural life, to be occupied by said George R. Coressel only. The said Henry Coressel shall pay fifteen hundred ($1500) Dollars said principal is to vest in the hands of the said Henry Coressel during the natural life of said George R. Coressel, or until said George R. Coressel may need said money – in said case he shall have the right to draw the same or a part thereof. The said henry Coressel shall further pay to George R. Coressel the sum of one hundred and fifty ($150) Dollars yearly and each year during his natural life. If part, or all of said heretodore mentioned fifteen hundred dollars be drawn by said George R. Coressel the yearly payment of one hundred and fifty dollars heretofore mentioned to be reduced ten dollars on every hundred dollars drawn. In case said George R. Coressel should die before the decease of said Henry Coressel, then the said fifteen hundred dollars or such part as may be left thereof to be equally divided between my children.

Iten 2 --- I give and devise to my son George R. Coressel and his heirs forever the following real estate, to wit: The south half of the south west quarter of Section Sixteen (16), also the north east quarter of the north west quarter of Section twenty-one (21) all of said land being and lying in township five (5) north of range five (5) east in Defiance County, Ohio, containing one hundred and twenty acres of land, more or less. As long as George R. Coressel boards with and is satisfied to stay and board with the said henry Coressel the said Henry Coressel is to have the use of said premises furnishing to said George R. Coressel good board and his washing out to keep up the farm in good repair and pay the taxes on said premises. If at any time George R. Coressel does not wish to board with said Henry Coressel any more then he may rent said premises to whomsoever he may see fit upon giving Henry Coressel one year’s notice in writing.

Item 3 --- I give and devise to the Saint Michael’s Church on the North-Ridge in Adams Township, one hundred ($100) dollars. – I further devise that after paying my just debts and any funeral expenses the balance of the money arising out of any interest in the stock, household goods and chattels be equally divided between my children.

Item 4th --- I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Peter Coressel Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby authorizing and empowering him to compromise, adjust, release and discharge in such manner as he may deem proper the debts and claims to me. I authorize and empower him to sell my chattels, at private sale, under such timing and in such manner, and upon such terms as he may think proper --- I further desire that my executor shall not be required to give bond as such executor --- I desire that in appraisement and in public sale of my personal property be made, and that the court of probate direct the omission of the same in pursuance of the statute --- I do revoke all other wills by me made----
