Clara Alton was the daughter of John Wesley Alton, Jr. and Minerva McCoy born on 11 April 1892 in Palmyra Township, Knox County, Indiana. She married Scott Allen on August 21, 1909 in Knox County, Indiana. She was the mother of two children. A daughter, Roena Edna Allen and a son, Wade Scott Allen. She married James A. Young after Scott died in 1931. Scott's grave is to the left of hers, as you stand looking at them, and Roena's is to the right.
