FREDEY Eugene F. DMD of Needham, died suddenly on Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Naples, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Alma (Cauley) Fredey, his son Eugene F. Fredey, Jr. and daughter-in-law Maura (Kelly) Fredey and his beloved granddaughters Caroline and Julia, of Winchester.
He is also survived by his sisters Janet Fredey of Needham and Alice Mamarchev, a brother Charles Fredey and his wife Carol, all of Sarasota, FL, as well as sisters-in-law Margaret Shannon of Needham and Mary Gail Cauley of Naples, FL, brother-in-law of the late Edward T. Cauley and the late George M. Shannon, as well as several nieces and nephews and an abundance of wonderful friends.
Dr. Fredey practiced dentistry in Needham for many years and was a past president of the Needham Pool and Racquet Club. He was an alumni of Boston College and Tufts Dental School.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM (Exit 19B off 128) Friday at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8PM.
Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
