Bette passed away in her home on Sunday May 17, 1987, one week after Mother's Day. She was the most loving and amazing mother to her ten children and a dedicated loving wife to her husband Gus. Bette and Gus had a love so deep they were like teenagers. Gus adorned Betty with a long stem roses.
She leaves behind a legacy of purpose in all of her children. Bette was a devoted Catholic and a most outstanding example to her community.
She is survived by her devoted husband Gus A. Palazzolo, six daughters, Joan Ann (Joanie) Palazzolo, Delores J. Schopp, Bette Jo Crowell, Phyllis J. Palazzolo, Constance A. Mindak, Lisa A. Carr; four sons, Steven John, Robert August and Richard August, Charles Joseph Palazzolo as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gus, her children, friends and neighbors will feel the loss of Bette immensely. She will be deeply missed.
