Obit - Celina Standard - May 9, 1987

Joseph J. Beacham, 92, St. Henry, died Saturday at 12:15 p.m. at Celina Manor Nursing Home of complications. He was born June 17, 1894 in Dayton, the son of Oliver and Ida (Kist) Beacham. On June 21, 1922, he was married to Vera Brown, who preceded him in death in 1933. Survivors
include three daughters, Sr. Adele Beacham, S.P., Syracuse, Ind.; Mrs. Louis (Marilyn) Huelsman and Mrs. Anita Bible, both of St. Henry; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One brother is deceased. Mr. Beacham was an army veteran of World War I. He was a retired employee of National Cash Register, Dayton, and a member of the St. Henry Knights of Columbus and St. Henry Catholic Church. Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Henry Church, the Rev. Raymond Bauer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Hogenkamp's Funeral Home, St. Henry, Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. and Thursday until the hour of services.
