MARY ELIZABETH RINEY, 82, Raywick, died at 3:35 a.m. Oct. 12, 2003, at Cedar's of Lebanon Nursing Home. Born April 11, 1921, in Marion County, Riney was a retired employee of Jane and Linda Sportswear Co. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Joseph Patrick and Mary Josephine Morris Brady; and two brothers, Mac and Bernard Brady. Survivors include: her husband, Paul Francis Riney of Raywick; a daughter, Francis Carol Downs of Bardstown; three sons, Philip Gerald Riney of Clemmons, N.C., Charles Keith Riney of Raywick and Robert Glenn Riney of Calvary; a sister, Borgia Lee of Raywick; seven brothers, James Patrick Brady of Springfield, Mo., Charles, Norris and Bob Brady, all of Raywick, Al Brady of Lebanon, Donald Brady of Bardstown and Gabe Brady of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. A funeral Mass was held Oct. 15 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, with burial in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery. Rev. David Sanchez officiated. Active pallbearers were Brad, Travis, Jason, Brent and Tim Riney and Chad Downs. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of the arrangements.
