Death of John J. McHugh
John J. McHugh, a retired Western Union operator and lay member of many Catholic charitable and religious organizations, died yesterday at Alexian Brothers Hospital of cerebral hemorrhage. He was 82 years old and lived at 3448 Utah street.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anna E. McHugh; three sons, the Rev. John P. McHugh S.J. of Aibonito, Puerto Rico; Robert J. McHugh, Springfield, Ill., and George J. McHugh, New Orleans, and four sisters. Funeral services will be tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 3310 South Grand boulevard. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. McHugh was a member of he following organizations, President of St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Vincent Orphan Home, Layman Retreat League, Holy Name, League of the Sacred Heart and Purgatorial Society of Faith.
