"Dorothy Evelyn Braith passed away Feb. 9 at Wesley Hospital death attributed to cancer.
She was born to parents Edna and Albert Kautz July 30, 1917 of Verndale and attended grade schools for eight years. She was united in marriage to John W. Braith, Jr., November 1, 1937 at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Blue Grass and was a member of the St. Ann's Catholic Church of Wadena.
Parish Rosary was recited at the Howard Folkestad Funeral Chapel Monday, at 8 p.m.
Funeral services were held at St. Ann's Catholic Church Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. with Father Kraemer as celebrant. Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery in Wadena.
Survivors are her husband, John Braith, Jr.; five daughters, Darlene Kinn, Albany, Ore.; Diann Quiram, Mpls.; Delma Knowlton, Mpls.; Debbie, and Doris, at home in Wadena; three sons James John and Jeffrey all of Wadena; two sisters, Viola Kautz, Alexandria; Gladys Stark, St. Paul; two brothers, Richard Kautz, Portland, Ore.; and Robert Kautz of Wadena.
Arrangements were by the Howard Folkestad Funeral Home."
