Frank Marion Lowe was born April 12, 1893 in Huntsville, Scott County, TN.. He died in Atoka Memorial Hospital Aug. 26 at the age of 74, after a long illness.

His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lowe who moved to Atoka County when Frank was a lad of 14. Mr. Lowe and Miss Maggie Faulkenberry were married May 4, 1920 and they lived in and around Atoka the remainder of his life. He worked all his life for M. K. T. Railroad. He served as a PFC in CO. D 129th MG BN during WW II.

Survivors include his wife of the home at 206 East 2nd, Atoka; one son Frank, Jr., Oklahoma City and two daughters, Estelle Humphreys, Oklahoma city, and Shirley Smithart of Louisville, TX.; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Atoka Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 Sunday with Bro. Haskell England officiating. Burial was in Farris Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Stanley Ridgway, Cecil Blakely, T. H. Blackburn, Tom Kilmer, John Phillips and Tom Clayburn.
