Brian Keith Fitzpatrick, 43, of Ashland, Ky., died February 8, 2010 in Ashland.
He was born July 27, 1966, in Ashland, a son of the late Edsel B. Fitzpatrick and Jayetta Eldridge Fitzpatrick.
He formerly worked at Marathon Oil and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Desert Sheild and Desert Storm.
He was of the Baptist faith and a 1984 graduate of Paul Blazer High School.
Brian was an avid Ashland Tomcats and Cincinnati Reds fans who loved reading and drafting.
Surviving are his loving wife, Kimberly Blair Fitzpatrick, of Ashland, two sons, Tyler and Caleb Fitzpatrick of Ashland; two brothers, Edsel (Anita) Fitzpatrick Jr. of Ashland,Ky., Kenny (Lorene) Fitzpatrick of Cherryville, Maine, and Frank (Linda) Fitzpatrick of Ashland, Ky., a sister, Donna (Larry) Hamblin of Ashland, Ky., his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Johnnie Blair of Ashland, Ky., and a host of loving family members and friends.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2010, Steen Funeral Home 13th Stret Chapel, Ashland. Burial at the Ashland Cemetery, with military rites by American Leigon Kenova Post 93.
Visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday February 11, 2010, at the funeral home.
