Hassie Alton Logan, 91, of Sheffield, died Monday, May 30, 2005. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, with the funeral to follow at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery. Gilbert Kretzer will officiate. Mrs. Logan was a native of Colbert County and was an elementary school teacher and a member of Wagnon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Franklin Logan; parents, Aussie and Fannie McCaig; son, Guy Gerald Logan; daughter, Freda Joyce Lindsey; brother, Curtis McCaig; and sister, Nellie Hudson. Mrs. Logan is survived by her grandchildren, William Randy Lindsey and Tony Logan; nephews, Harold McCaig and Ricky Hudson; and nieces, Glenda Heupel and Donna Sullivan.
