She was a kind neighbor, a good wife and a devoted mother. She never tired of ministering to the wants of her family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her work done, to her there was apparently no sting to death. She died peacefully, "like one who wraps the draperies of his couch about him and lies down to pleasant dreams." Funeral services were held at Fredonia conducted by the Rev. Mr. Hart.
