SERGEANT BLUFF -- Trevor R. Russell, 15, of Sergeant Bluff died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at his residence.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church in Sergeant Bluff, with the Rev. Tim Schiller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Trevor was born on Feb. 20, 1994, in Sioux City, the son of Tim and Sharon (Hesse) Russell. He was a student at Sergeant Bluff-Luton School. Trevor had played baritone in the school band.

Trevor loved the technology age, reading, and spending time with his friends and brothers. Trevor was a member of the Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church and the treasurer of the Pioneer Valley 4-H Club.

Trevor is survived by his parents, Tim and Sharon; two brothers, Stephen and Blake; his grandparents, Betty Hesse of Le Mars, Iowa, and Richard and Kay Russell of Carson, Iowa; great-grandmother, Arlene Conaway of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his uncles, Alan Hesse and Tim Orwig of Walpole, Mass., and Andrew and Gie Gie Russell of Des Moines; and his cousin, William of Walpole.
