Word was received here this afternoon by Mrs. L. A. Dees, that her uncle, Capt. Wm. Renfro, formerly of Troy, was dead at Elsah. The body will be taken to Troy, where the funeral will be held tomorrow morning. No particulars concerning the death were received. Mrs. Dees left for Troy immediately upon receiving the message and will attend the funeral.
