Virginia Barbler Blankenship, 84, died at home on February 2, 2010. Born in Pine Bluff on December 16, 1925, she was the daughter of Raymond and Laura Timms Barbler. She married Thomas Virgil Blankenship and they made their home in North Little Rock for many years before returning to Pine Bluff. Mr. Blankenship died in 1996.
