Funeral services for Mr. Carl Edward Whited, 88, of Livingston, were
conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2001, from the chapel of Speck
Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Harris officiating. Burial was in the Whited
Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Whited died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He
was a farmer and machinist, of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Eagle
Creek Lodge.
Born November 24, 1912, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Gipson
and Mary K. (Garrett) Whited. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his wife Thelma (Hopkins) Whited.
