A son of Joseph J. Boor and Alice R. (Knisely) Boor. He was first married to Mary Ruth (Young) Boor who died in 1941, second to Mamie E. (Brown) Boor on June 7, 1944.
He was survived by his wife, four children, Mrs. A. Helen Tucker, of Glendora, California; Mrs. Shirley M. Mills, of Loysburg; Joseph M. Boor, of Mifflintown, Pa.; and Victor K. Boor, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; also three brothers, Roy W. Boor, of R.D. 2, Everett; Virgil F. Boor, of New Enterprise; and Donald J. Boor, of Lewistown; one sister, Mrs. Lou Ella Lewis, of Delmont, Pa.; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Mr. Boor was a member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren and a former member of the Cove Lions Club.
Funeral services were held at the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren with Rev. Ralph Thomas in charge, assisted by Rev. Howard Bernhard.
Burial was made in the Steele Cemetery.
