Judy Kaye Potter Bond, died peacefully at her residence on January 12, 2010, at 5:08 A.M. of complications of Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was 67 and Believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and has been summoned to her Heavenly Home to be with Him. She was born in McAlester, OK and lived in River Ridge, LA for the past 40 years. Mrs. Bond graduated from Sperry High School, Sperry, OK, and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, OK with a BS Degree in Nursing. She worked at Presbyterian Hospital, Oklahoma City; Doctors Hospital, Tulsa, OK; DePaul Hospital, NOLA and Waldon Healthcare Center, Kenner, LA. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, River Ridge, LA where she served as Bible teacher for girls, youth, adults, vacation Bible school and a deacon's wife. Mrs. Bond was a pioneer in Louisiana Home Schooling and taught her daughter 2nd – 12th grades, preparing her to attend and graduate from Loyola University, NOLA. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Potter and her two beloved brothers, Carl Wayne Potter Jr. and Larry Dean Potter (aka Farrar). Memorial Services will be held at Riverside Baptist Church, 9220 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, LA, on Saturday February 27, 2010, at 11:00 A.M., with family and friends visitation immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in memory of "Judy K.
