WILLIAM H. PLATT
PAYSON, Feb. 4. - William Henry Platt of Mona, died Monday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Simmons of Payson. He was born at Lancashire, England, July 12, 1855. he came to Utah when eight years old, having since lived at Mona. His wife, Mrs. Mary Alice Platt died 18 months ago.
The following survive: Nine children, Mrs. Sarah Harper, Dividend; Mrs. Racheal Miller and Mrs. Jenny Bowman, Bingham; William Platt, Mrs. Nancy McClelland and Mrs. Vera Van Alarstine, Salt Lake; Mrs. Mary Simmons, Payson; James and Glen Platt, Mona; two sisters, 29 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Mona ward chapel with Bishop John Nielson, in charge. Friends may call at the chapel from 1:30 until time for the services. Interment will be in the Mona cemetery.
