Mary C. ZUMBAUGH, 76, R.R. 5, Rochester, died Monday at 11:30 p.m. at Canterbury Manor nursing home, where she was a patient since October of 1973. Born Dec. 15, 1897 in Fulton county to James and Emma OVERMYER PALMER, she lived most of her life here, with the exception of 16 years in Three Rivers, Mich. Her marriage was on June 14, 1915 in Tiosa to the Rev. Harley ZUMBAUGH, who died June 1, 1973. Mrs. Zumbaugh was a member of the Tiosa Brethren church, What Not club and the Woodlawn hospital auxiliary. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Margaret) GARNER, San Diego, Cal.; three grandchildren, Philip MOW, Newark, Del.; Mrs. Sheridan RIDER, Escondido, Cal., and Miss Shannon MOW, Cambridge, Mass.; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carmen KATH, R.R. 5, Rochester, and Mrs. Orville (Doris) LONG, Phoenix, Ariz., and two brothers, Oswald PALMER, R.R. 5, Rochester, and Cecil PALMER, Los Angeles, Cal. One son and one brother preceded in death. Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. John SHULTZ officiating. Burial will be at Sandhill cemetery, near Rochester. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
