Survivors include the wife and mother, who is postmistress at Springville; two children, Jerry of Indianapolis, and Linda, at home. His father preceded him in death, August 14, last year.
He was a member of the Springville Methodist Church, Gillen Post 33 of the American Legion and Rural Mail Carriers Assn.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Dr. R.E. Badger will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
