Burns suffered Tuesday at the Wheel Inn cafe and cabin camp seven miles north of Salina on highway 81, proved fatal to Emerson R. Donley and his wife Mary Amelia.
Mr. and Mrs. Donley came to Salina about three years ago from Ellsworth county where they had farmed. They operated the Wheel Inn about two years. Mrs. Donley, 57, was born in Wabaunsee county. Her husband, was born in Lincoln county.
Surviving are six sons and daughters, Elmer, Bob, and Mrs. Frank Warta, Ellsworth; Mrs.Dave Schwemmer. Mankato; Mrs. Milford Admire, Council Grove, and Mrs. Alice Pflughoeft, Salina.
Mrs. Donley is survived by three brothers and a sister. Mr. Donley is survived by five brothers and sisters, all of whom live in Lincoln County.
