Grew up during the depression and hard times. Married Otto while he was still in the service. After he returned they spent a great deal of time traveling, later settling in the west. They were both born and raised in and around Paris, Texas area and spent a lot of time going back and forth to West Texas. They finally made their home in El Paso, Texas, where Otto had a concrete business. He was in on a lot of the early developement of El Paso. After retirement age, they lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico for awhile, later buying a home in Arrey, New Mexico, closer to the river and Socorro Lake and Dam. That is where they were living when she passed away.
