KEAAU, Hawaii--Larry Barney, 45, passed from this earthly life to his heavenly reward on Tuesday, July 27. As his earthly body struggled with the effects of cancer and diabetes, Larry's spirit man was peaceful as his faith in Jesus and God's mercy, grace and very present help in Larry's time of trouble became manifest. Larry passed from this life trusting, believing, and deriving strength from God's promises in Psalm 46:1.
Larry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lois, and her children that he looked upon as his own, Attilee (Osaka, Japan); Carl (Seattle, Washington); Geoffrey (Salt Lake City); and Heidi Hasz (Amsterdam, Netherlands); his mother, Alice Griess (husband Robert), Ogden; brother, Joe (wife Marilyn) of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Carol Pledger (husband George) of Ogden; brother, Donald (wife Diane) Heathcote of Ogden. His father, Harry Barney, preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 4th, 1 p.m. at Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, on Tuesday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
