CLARENCE ENSIGN DIES TUESDAY
Clarence Ensign, 82, passed away at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Don Vallender in Beaverton on Tuesday, Aug. 3, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at the Reigle Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. H. F. Brietzke officiating. Burial will be in the Highland cemetery.
Mr. Ensign was born on June 2, 1866 inNew York State and came to Gladwin county from Midland about 50 years ago. Surviving are one son, Fred Ensign and one daughter, Mrs. Oscar Seltz, both of Secord township; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Howe of Long Beach, California; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
