Donald Vickery Fatally Injured Donald Vickery, a young farmer, age 30, who lived near the Stone House in the south end of the county died in the Ryan ambulance enroute to the hospital in La Crosse early last evening. His death was the result of severe injuries received when the team he was driving while out in the field discing ran away, the machine breaking his hip and cutting him seriously in many places. He was rushed to the Waukon hospital for blood transfusions and glucose in preparation for being taken to La Crosse but passed away in the ambulance in the vicinity of Caledonia.
